SIMA.ABO covers the complete subscription administration in public transport — from the Deutschlandticket and student and job tickets to classic monthly and association subscriptions. Customer master data, contract terms and entitlements live centrally; issuance happens digitally straight to the passenger’s smartphone, or classically via chip card and paper.
The solution really shines on the student bulk dispatch: schools and ordering bodies upload their student lists into the portal once per school year — tickets are issued automatically over the course of the year and delivered through the chosen channel. Wallet, email, your own white-label app, or chip card — you decide what fits your operation. Through ready-made interfaces, SIMA.ABO can be combined with SIMA.WEBSHOP for online orders and with SIMA.CHIPKARTE for chip-card issuance.

Tickets land as VDV-compliant barcodes in Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or our own white-label wallet app. Updates on tariff or version changes flow into the wallets automatically.

Email with barcode or attachment
Where wallet is not wanted or available, the ticket is sent to the subscriber by email — with a barcode attachment or PDF. Classic paper tickets are also possible where the delivery process requires it.

Chip card as the medium
For existing structures or specific customer groups, the subscription can also be issued on a chip card. Chip-card management runs through SIMA.CHIPKARTE — on request, we handle issuance and personalisation as a service.
